WAKARUSA – A Wakarusa man was injured in a two vehicle crash late Saturday afternoon.
According to the Elkhart County Sheriff's Office, 29 year old Rick Hall Jr. of Goshen was heading northeast on State Road 119, west of County Road 7. Deputies say 70 year old Vern Zentz of Wakarusa was stopped on County Road 7 at State Road 119 heading south. Zentz attempted to cross State Road 119, but failed to yield the right of way and was struck by Hall.
Both drivers were wearing their seat belts at the time of the collision. Zentz complained of chest pain and was taken to Elkhart General Hospital. He was also given a citation for failure to yield the right of way.
