ATHENS TOWNSHIP – Michigan State Police are investigating a hit and run crash that happened in Athens Township.
Troopers say the incident occurred at 10:40 PM Tuesday on M-66 near 3 ½ Mile Road. A black Mitsubishi car and a white pick up truck were both traveling north on M-66 when the car aggressively braked, causing the pick up to strike the car from behind. The car did not stop, and continued on north.
It's believed the car has minor to excessive damage to the rear driver's side. If anyone has information on this incident, they are asked to call the State Police Post in Marshall at 269-558-0500.
