Burr Oak Heritage Festival Continuing On

BURR OAK – More activities are scheduled for today as the 2021 Burr Oak Heritage Festival continues.

Today's events include breakfast at the Methodist Church; the 5K run and free kids' fun run; the parade at 11 AM and an old fashioned farm machinery demonstration all day long. There will be food and craft sales going on all day long. Starting at 12 PM is the fireman hot dog sale along with the inflatables and hamster ball in Railroad Park. The kids' tractor pedal pulls will start at 12:30 PM and during the afternoon there will be free horse drawn carriage rides and free historical tours of the village.

The corn hole tournament gets underway at 1 PM along with the tethered hot air balloon rides. There will be a mud volleyball tournament, an Elvis tribute, the firetruck pulls, port-a-potty pulls and music from Bid Caddy Daddy at 9 PM in the Momma Mia's Pizza and Beverage Tent. At 10 PM is the fireworks show.

On Sunday there will be donuts and coffee in the Church Park at 10 AM, followed by the Community Church Service in the park
