COLDWATER – The Branch-Hillsdale-St. Joseph Community Health Agency has expanded who they will give the COVID-19 vaccine to.

The CHA says they have started vaccinating children ages 12 to 15 years old with the Pfizer vaccine. All individuals ages 12 to 17 need to have parent or guardian consent to receive the vaccine. Appointments are encouraged, but walk ins are taken at their ongoing vaccination clinics in the tri-county area. Appointments can be made by going to their website at bhsj.org.

Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines are also available for individuals 18 and older. For families with adolescents in Hillsdale County seeking the vaccine, appointments can also be scheduled for a clinic hosted by Hillsdale Hospital on May 22. You can schedule an appointment by going to hillsdalehospital.com.
