WAYNE TOWNSHIP – One person was injured in a two vehicle crash in Cass County's Wayne Township on Thursday.

According to the Cass County Sheriff's Department, 30 year old Phillip Pressley of Dowagiac was on Dewey Lake Street, just east of Rudy Road at 2:20 PM. Pressley was slowing down to make a right turn when he was rear ended by a pick up truck, driven by 34 year old Ryan Abiney of Dowagiac. Pressley's car left the road and struck a utility pole.

Pressley was taken to Borgess Lee Memorial Hospital by Pride Care Ambulance to be treated for his injuries. Abiney was not injured. Both men were wearing their seat belts. The crash remains under investigation.
