COLDWATER, MI – A 21 year old man was arraigned on first and second degree criminal sexual conduct charges on Tuesday in Branch County District Court.

The charges stem from alleged incidents that took place sometime between December 1, 2019 and January 31, 2020. Court documents say 21-year-old Skyler Rathburn, of Saginaw, Michigan, was charged by Branch County Prosecutors following a Coldwater Police Department investigation.

Reports indicate the alleged victim in the case was a girl who was nine-years-old at the time.

Bond was set at $50,000. Should Rathburn post bond, no contact orders were entered on behalf of the alleged victim and on behalf of any minor child.

A probable cause hearing was set for May 6 with a preliminary exam scheduled for May 12.
