Memorial Day Pharmacy Theft In Auburn

On Monday afternoon at approximately 2:40 P.M., the Auburn Police responded to a report of a theft occurring at the CVS Pharmacy, 934 West Seventh Street Auburn, Indiana.

Upon arrival Officers located a male leaving the business who matched the description of the suspect. The male entered a vehicle that was occupied by two other persons and attempted to flee.

Officers were able to stop the vehicle and detain all three subjects. Officers were able to determine that two of the three subjects did not have a driver’s license and the other had a license which was suspended.

An Auburn Police K-9 was deployed and alerted on the vehicle. A subsequent search by Officers located numerous stolen items from both CVS and Dollar General as well as drugs and drug paraphernalia. The 2014 Chevy Malibu was impounded and the following persons were charged.

Of those arrested include: Douglas M. Wolf, Age 56 of Petersburg Illinois who was charged with Theft (Level 6 Felony), Possession of Cocaine or a Narcotic Drug (Level 6 Felony), and Possession of Paraphernalia (Class C Misdemeanor) along with Jeffrey T. Hendricks, Age 55 of Fort Wayne for Possession of Cocaine or a Narcotic Drug (Level 6 Felony), Driving While Suspended with a Prior (Class A Misdemeanor), and Possession of Paraphernalia (Class C Misdemeanor), and Michelle M. Hendricks, age Age 54 of Fort Wayne for Possession of Cocaine or a Narcotic Drug (Level 6 Felony), and Possession of Paraphernalia (Class C Misdemeanor).

Auburn Police were assisted by an off duty Noble County Sheriff’s Deputy and the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Department. Value of the stolen alcohol alone was over $1500.00.
