Pipe Liner Project Starts on I-69 in DeKalb and Steuben Counties
Monday, March 18, 2019

Drivers can expect shoulder work between mile marker 321 and the Michigan State Line on I-69 this week through May. The Indiana Department of Transportation says work started on multiple pipes in DeKalb and Steuben counties on today (Monday, March 18) on I-69.

Drivers will see work occurring on the shoulders, in both directions as contractors remove and install new pipe liners in various locations. INDOT reminds drivers to be cautious of crews working on this and any active construction zone.

All work is expected to be completed by late May, weather permitting. Again, work will take place on Interstate 69, between mile markers 321 and the Michigan State Line.

The combined contract was awarded to Yardberry Landscaping and Excavating for $1.07 million.
