Early Tuesday morning a Deputy with the LaGrange County Sheriff’s Office performed a traffic stop on a speeding vehicle. The incident happened just after 2 a.m. at 3500 West on US Highway 20.
During the course of the stop, it was discovered that the driver, Joel C. Loftus of LaGrange was in possession of Methamphetamine, Paraphernalia and a (Schedule IV) Controlled Substance.
Loftus was arrested and booked into the LaGrange County Jail on multiple charges (Possession of Methamphetamine, Paraphernalia and Schedule IV Controlled Substance).
