The Angola Services and Budget Committee was presented architectural drawings and an estimate for an addition to the Angola PD building.

The Angola Budget and Services Committee reviewed a project estimate for an addition to the Angola Police Department. The estimate from Elevatus Architecture totaled $5,277,566 with $4,222,053 in construction costs. The addition would include three floors which would house a workout facility and locker rooms on the lower level.

A number offices, a break room, storage, squad room, and a lab on the main floor and an impact room, padded training room, and virtual weapon room on the second floor. The addition would be located on the southwest side of the existing building extending into the existing parking lot and will cover about 17,400 square feet.

The Angola Services and Budget Committee will gather again on March 18 at 6PM.
