U.S. Department of Transportation Announces Emergency Relief

The U.S. Department of Transportation’s Federal Highway Administration is providing Ohio more than $83 million in emergency relief funding for the repair of roads and bridges following natural disasters in the state.

The $83 million is part of an overall $705.7 million funding package under FHWA’s Emergency Relief program. The purpose is to help 34 states as well as American Samoa, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands, make repairs to roads and bridges damaged by storms, floods, and other unexpected events.
