Gas Prices on the Rise This Week

After declining for 13 straight weeks, the national average price of gasoline has posted a weekly increase of 0.5 cents to $2.24 per gallon on Monday. The rise comes as oil prices are going back to the $50 per barrel level on OPEC.

In addition, Canadian oil production has had cuts to start the new year.

Oklahoma has the lowest state average for gas prices at $1.87 per gallon.

Hawaii roles in as the highest average gas prices at $3.43 per gallon.

Locally, on Tuesday, gas is $2.09 a gallon in Angola, $2.25 in Auburn and LaGrange. In Coldwater, MI the lowest gas is $2.20 a gallon. Bryan, Ohio has gas for $2.07 a gallon, as of Tuesday morning.
