EDGERTON, OH – Power has been fully restored to all Edgerton Electric customers after a nearly week-long outage.
The town lost power a week ago, on Monday June 6th after both lightning and a train hit a high voltage line.
Throughout the weekend, the community found creative ways to beat the “no-electric blues.” Sunday, community members were invited to spend the day at the park, with food available and entertainment like corn hole and a piano player.
Local businesses also opened their doors to provide food for the community.
Edgerton Village officials are advising if an electric customer has power that did not come back on, they should call 419.298.2343 to report the problem.
