Fremont High School Graduation Rescheduled

FREMONT, IN - Officials with Fremont Comunity Schools have announced new dates for graduation.

Graduation is rescheduled for May 22nd at 2 PM in the Fremont High School gym. Seating is open to the public; however, each graduating senior is entitled to two chairs on the floor for parents and guardians.

Seniors are required to attend graduation practice, brunch, and the alumni banquet as well as schedule a day for college orientation, job shadowing and community service. To walk in the graduation ceremony, Fremont seniors must have all course work completed and passed by 3 PM on May 19th and attend graduation practice on May 20th.

Other important dates and deadlines for seniors at Fremont High School:

Friday, April 29th - Seniors turn in all the information to guidance about any military commitments, scholarships, honors, or awards to be presented at the award’s day ceremony.

Friday, May 13th - Award’s Day will be held at 9 AM at the HS Auditorium. Parents are encouraged to attend. Seniors are asked to dress-up.

Wednesday, May 18th - Senior locker clean-out, Senior Finals, & Senior Checkout

Thursday, May 19th - Seniors attend college orientation, community service or job shadow day. ++Required++ This is a required school day for seniors. All credit requirements must be met to graduate.

Friday, May 20th - Graduation Practice, Senior Brunch 8:00-11:30am. ++Required++ Graduation practice is required to walk in graduation.

Saturday, May 21st - Alumni Banquet 6:00-7:00 p.m. @ The middle school. Seniors arrive at 5:45. Seniors are expected to attend the Alumni Banquet.

Sunday, May 22nd - Optional Baccalaureate at 12:30 PM in the auditorium, and GRADUATION at 2 PM. Please arrive @ 1 PM in the auditorium.

Tuesday, June 7th - Spring/Senior Athletic Awards @ 7 PM at the FHS Auditorium.

Graduation and Award Ceremony attire:

• Dress clothes are required for the awards ceremony and graduation.
• Dress pants, dress shoes, collar shirt with tie, dresses, skirt or pants with appropriate dress shirt
• NO flip flops, no tennis shoes, no jeans, no sunglasses, no messages on hats
