GOSHEN – A woman is dead after being struck by a vehicle.
The Goshen Police Department was called to 2628 Ashton Pines Drive just after 8 AM Wednesday regarding a 911 call about a pedestrian-vehicle accident. Officers arrived and spoke to the driver of the vehicle. She is an employee of ADEC, and explained she was there to pick up the victim.
The driver says she started to slow down and instead of pressing the break, she stepped on the gas, and knocked the victim, a 44 year old woman, to the ground. The victim was then pinned under the vehicle.
Officers determined the woman was dead. The accident remains under investigation.
