Bitterly cold air from the Arctic Circle will be moving our way by late Friday.

Forecasters say this frigid air, coming from the coldest place on earth, will be released into our area by the weekend. Highs are expected to drop into the lower teens and single digits by the weekend with possibility of lows below zero.
