INDIANAPOLIS - The Hoosier Hospitality Promise, a public health initiative in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, has released data surrounding the number of businesses and consumers that have made The Promise throughout the State of Indiana.

The Hoosier Hospitality Promise is a joint effort by Lt. Gov. Suzanne Crouch, Indiana Destination Development Corporation, Indiana Restaurant & Lodging Association and Indiana Tourism Association that launched in early July. Since the launch, Indiana has seen more than 600 businesses make The Promise to ensure employees' and consumers' safety.

The more than 600 businesses that have made the Hoosier Hospitality Promise have pledged to follow federal, state and local health and safety guidelines. Almost 5,000 consumers have made The Promise.

Businesses and consumers can still make The Promise by visiting HoosierHospitalityPromise.com. By making the Hoosier Hospitality Promise, businesses pledge that they are following all the guidelines from the CDC, local and state health departments, and best practices of their national organizations to keep their employees as well as guests healthy and safe.
