MONTPELIER, OH - The Williams County Fair will go on as normal as possible this year.
The Williams County Fair Board members officially vote to continue the county fair. They aim to conduct most of the fair just as they always do, only with some changes which will need to be made in order to keep up to the state’s standards, amid COVID-19.
Among the modifications will be grandstand seating capacity and social distancing requirements. State requirements currently allow grandstand events to happen but capacity is limited to half, with no more than 2,500 people. The grandstand at the Williams County Fairgrounds in Montpelier holds about 2,600.
This year’s Williams County Fair is set for September 12-19.
