Northeast Indiana Has 154 New Coronavirus Cases

INDIANAPOLIS – 154 new cases of coronavirus were reported in Northeast Indiana Tuesday afternoon.

Steuben County has 1 new case, bringing the total number of people in the county with coronavirus to 106. There have been 2 people who have died.

DeKalb County has 2 new cases, which brings the total number of people who have the coronavirus to 123. There have been 3 deaths in the county.

In LaGrange County there were 17 new cases of the virus, according to the Indiana State Department of Health. That makes 294 people who have tested positive, and 2 people who have died.

Noble County has 54 new cases. There are now 391 people with COVID-19, and there have been 27 deaths from the virus.

Elkhart County is reporting another death from COVID-19, making 35 people who have died from the virus. There were also 80 new cases of the virus, which makes 2,248 people who have tested positive.

​Statewide there were 440 new cases of coronavirus reported, which means 40,786 Hoosiers have been diagnosed with the virus. There were 14 more deaths. There are now 2,265 people who have died from COVID-19.

The State Department of Health also says as of Tuesday, there were 8,014 people who received the COVID-19 test. To date, 363,745 individuals have been tested with 11.2 percent of the tests coming back as positive.
