BRYAN, OH - Gary Mohre has received several significant endorsements for his run for Williams County Sheriff for the upcoming November election.

The Williams County Police Chief’s Association has endorsed former interim county sheriff, Gary Mohre’s write-in candidacy for sheriff in the November 3 general election. In addition to Stryker, the association includes the police chiefs of Bryan, Montpelier, Edgerton, Pioneer, Edon, West Unity and Blakeslee.

Mohre was appointed interim sheriff on March 18th, when former sheriff, Steve Towns resigned as part of a plea deal to avoid prosecution on three felony charges. Mohre served until June 9, when Tom Kochert was officially sworn in as Williams County Sheriff.
