Ohio COVID-19 Numbers Climb; Still No Cases in Williams County

COLUMBUS, Ohio - According to the Ohio Department of Health’s report on Wednesday, the buckeye state has 2,547 confirmed coronavirus cases in Ohio are spread across 72 of the state’s 88 counties, with 65 deaths.
The case total was up from 2,199 cases the previous day, with the number of deaths increased from 55. Wednesday’s report included the first case for Ohio’s Morrow County.

Here in northwest Ohio, a Napoleon city employee has contracted the coronavirus. Officials say since the worker is not a resident of Henry County, there remains no confirmed cases reported there. The employee arrived at work with symptoms of COVID-19. The department supervisor identified the symptoms and sent that person home for testing. The city says the employee is recovering.

Henry County along with Williams, Paulding, and Putnam counties are the only in northwest Ohio with no reported cases (as of Wednesday, 4/1/20).
