Unemployment across Northeast Indiana increased during the month of January.
The figures released by Indiana Workforce Development showed Steuben County increasing from 2.3 to 2.9%, and DeKalb County going from 2.5 to 3.1%.
Meanwhile, LaGrange County’s rate rose from 2.1% in December to 2.7% in January, but still well below the 3.9% of a year ago.
In addition, Noble County went from 2.8 to 3.5%.
The statewide un-adjusted rate went from 3% to 3.6% in January.
