Two Prairie Heights Students Were Asked To Remain Home Out Over Potential Exposure to Coronavirus
Wednesday, March 11, 2020

Two Prairie Heights students were asked to remain home out of caution over potential exposure to the COVID-19 coronavirus. One attends Prairie Heights Elementary and the other Prairie Heights Middle School.

Superintendent Jeff Reed says they were not exposed directly but live with someone who is quarantined due to possible exposure.

The State Department of Health recommendation to the school nurse was that the students remain at school since there were no visible symptoms, but out of caution the district asked the students to stay home for the next two weeks.
