The man who will now lead the city of Auburn was officially sworn in on New Year's Eve, as Mike Ley was sworn in before a nice sized crowd of spectators in DeKalb Circuit Court.
Ley, along with his wife Sara were on hand as the new Mayor swore his oath over a bible and later it was announced that Brandy Coburn would serve as executive assistant to the newly appointed Mayor.
Ley also announced that he is reappointing all city department heads under his regime.
