DeKalb County Commissioner will see William Hartman presiding over the Commissioners meetings in 2020, as Hartman was elected by a three-member board Monday at the courthouse in downtown Auburn.

Regular meetings by the Commissioners are held on Mondays at 8:30 A.M. on the second floor of the courthouse, and in yesterday's meeting it was discussed that three bridges are due for replacement over the next few years. The bridge with the highest priority is on County Road 15 North of State Route 8 which is over 30 feet in length. Other bridges in need of replacement are on County Road 72 east of County Road 39, and one on County Road 16 between Indiana 15 and Indiana 19 which is over 83 feet long.

A bridge west of Waterloo on County Road 24 just north of U.S. 6 was also discussed as in need of attention.
