Heading into the final week of 2019 gasoline prices were on the rise across the tri-state region.
In Angola prices range anywhere from $2.59 to $2.65, over in Howe $2.59 seemed to be the norm, and further south in Kendallville area prices ranged from $2.55 to $2.59 a gallon.
Triple A says prices are definitely higher than at this time last year, about 53 cents higher in the South Bend Area and about 48 cents higher in the Fort Wayne area specifically.
Prices rose over the holidays about 8-cents a gallon average in the state of Indiana.
