High Pressure System on Saturday Converts to Cold Air by Tuesday
By: Sheila McCrea - Saturday, December 28, 2019

A high pressure system will be over the area on Saturday (today), which will keep things dry.

The National Weather Service says a cold front will be approaching the area Saturday night. Forecasters says the cold front will introduce rain chances to the region.

Sunday will be wet (due to the low pressure frontal system) as warmer than normal air is pumped into the region giving us much above normal temperatures. As a result, most of the listening area will be under the influence of the low pressure to end out the year Monday and Tuesday.

Colder air will be pumped into the region Tuesday as there will be a small chance for snow.
