Many gathered at the Auburn Council Chambers Thursday morning, as the masses were on hand to bid long-time Auburn Mayor, Norm Yoder a formal farewell.

Prior to the party, another extraordinary gesture was made on Tuesday night at the Auburn Common Council's final meeting of 2019 as members of the council announced that their meeting room will from now on be known as the "Norman E. Yoder Council Chambers" in a way to show their thanks to the man who has served as Auburn Mayor for two decades.

Yoder's last item of business will be on December 26th at 9 A.M. when he is scheduled to meet with the Board of Public Works and Safety.
