A recent road project being conduct by the Indiana Department of Transportation Northeast saw a big step taken on Wednesday afternoon. State Route 327 in Orland has reopened, but that does not mean that the project is officially completed.

There will be some ongoing work the remainder of the week as INDOT will be using flagman at the scene, so motorists are being asked to use caution and be on the lookout for our crews.

Officials with INDOT Northeast are wanting to send out a big thank you to the contractors and staff who worked on the project, as well as the community that has been patient throughout the work.
