Second Round of Light Snow May Play Havoc Tuesday
Tuesday, December 17, 2019

A second round of light snow in as many days has came through much of the tri-state area late Monday night, and early this morning. Areas on the southern end of Steuben County, and much of DeKalb County saw light snow fall overnight which has left some roadways snow and ice covered once again, and could be tedious at times during the morning commute.

Meanwhile, Fort Wayne and areas south saw heavier amounts of snow which could effect morning travel along I-69 this morning as crews are working to treat all area roadways.

According to the National Weather Service, conditions are expected to clear out and lead to mostly sunny skies later this morning and early afternoon with high temperatures reaching into the low 30s. The sunny conditions are expected to last through most of the week, with colder temperatures expected for Wednesday and Thursday with highs only in the mid to high 20s before warming back into the mid to high 30s by this weekend.
