Two-Vehicle Crash Tuesday Night Crash In Waterloo Leaves One Man In Critical Condition

On Tuesday Night at approximately 8:00 P.M. near U.S. Highway 6 and County Road 27 in Waterloo, Indiana a 32-year-old Auburn man was traveling south bound on Country Road 27 in his 2007 Ford Escape. It was there that Jason D. Walden failed to yield the right of way to a Semi-Truck and was then struck as it was traveling east bound, thus resulting in heavy damage to the passenger side of Walden's vehicle. Walden was then flown by helicopter to Parkview Regional Medical Center and is listed in critical condition.

The driver of the semi, 44-year-old Jason Mullholand of Fostoria, Ohio was treated and released at the scene as he complained of pain to the head and left side of his body.

The accident remains under investigation by the DeKalb County Sheriff's Office. Assisting at the scene were the Waterloo Police Department, Indiana State Police, Waterloo Fire Department, Parkview DeKalb EMS, Parkview Samaritan, C. Noels Towing, and Parker Towing.
