With overnight and early morning rain coming across the region, the City of Angola Wastewater Treatment is wanting to warn residents of potential combined sewer overflow.
During long periods of consistent precipitation, like heavy rainfall, the sanitary sewage collection system may surcharge and a combined sewer overflow may occur.
While there is a small chance of thunderstorms for this afternoon and evening, locally heavy rain is a possible but severe weather is not expected. The chance for thunderstorms will remain in the forecast as well for Wednesday and Thursday, according to the National Weather Service.
