Unemployment was up in June in Northeast Indiana.
The figures released Monday by Indiana Workforce Development showed an across the board increase in our area. LaGrange County rose from 2.4% to 2.7%. thanks to an increase of 69 in the number of jobless workers. The 2.7% was same as one year ago.
Elkhart and Noble Counties rose from 2.6 to an even 3%.
Steuben County, much like Lagrange, went from 2.4 to 2.7%.
DeKalb County also saw a rise going from 2.5 to 2.8%.
